Baby Zoe has finally arrived! She is absolutely beautiful and so sweet! Her grandparents were in town from Florida to help out, so I loved being able to include them in the fun. Christa and Jay are going to make wonderful parents!
Tuesday, February 24, was probably one of my longest days at work. The day dragged by as I anxiously waited for 5:00pm. Sandie was having her baby, and I was supposed to be at the hospital with her. Her husband, Mike, texted me with updates throughout the day, so I thought there was still time. When I finally got to the hospital, I walked into her room and there was Sandie, chatty but calm, and precious Payton Lee was already in the nursery. This adorable little guy looks just like his Mommy, and while I didn’t make it in time for his arrival, I joined the family a few days later for his first bath. One of many firsts for this new family 🙂
Rob and JoAnne contacted me for a photo session after taking a birthing class with two of my other preggie friends, Sandie and Shauna. I love meeting new soon-to-be mommies and capturing sweet moments in this special time of their lives! We decided to go to Meadowlark in Reston for their maternity shoot and to enjoy the cool winter day. I can’t wait to meet little Aidan!

Baby Canyon couldn’t wait to meet his Mommy and Daddy. We were all surprised when he came into the world almost a month early! Here are a few pictures from the hospital of this sweet little boy… Congratulations Shauna, Cory, and big brother, Alex!
Laura and Evan contacted me for a family session soon after their little girl, Audrey, turned 1 year old. It was a cool day so we decided to stay inside and get some photos of her playing around their home. Audrey was giggly and smiling the whole time, which made for a great afternoon and sweet pictures of the family.
